Following the ceremony, we will gather for a BBQ buffet filled with music, dancing, and celebration under the beautiful sky of Baku.

Dress code
Formal attire but wear what you feel most comfortable in. Think soft fabrics, flowy dresses, linen suits — comfortable enough for warm weather. elegant enough for photos!

Airfare
Guests are kindly asked to book their own flights. We recommend arriving in Baku no later than August 12 to allow time for rest, sightseeing, and potential flight delays.
(We recommend a stay of 1 week to ensure enough time for sight seeing and exploring the city)
Airlines flying to Baku include Turkish Airlines, Lufthansa, Pegasus, LOT, and AJet.
Accommodations
We recommend staying at hotels in the city centre, such as Marriott Baku, Four Seasons Hotel Baku, Fairmont Baku, or Hilton Baku.
For more options, chain hotels such as Ibis Baku City, Holiday Inn Baku, and Courtyard by Marriott Baku are also great choices.
There are also many good AIRBNB options available throughout the city centre.

A full itinerary will be emailed to confirmed guests. Expect a full afternoon and evening with a welcoming reception, dinner, and of course, the wedding day celebration.
FAQs
Do I need a visa to travel to Azerbaijan?
Yes, Swedish and Bulgarian passport holders require a visa to enter Azerbaijan. A visa can be easily obtained online through the official e-visa system. Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your planned stay. Alternatively, you may contact the nearest embassy for assistance.

What currency is used, and can I use credit cards?
The local currency is the Azerbaijani Manat (AZN). Credit cards are widely accepted, but we recommend carrying some cash for smaller establishments. Cash can easily be withdrawn from VISA and Mastercard ATMs that are placed throughout the city.
What language is spoken in Azerbaijan?
The official language is Azerbaijani. English is widely spoken at hotels, restaurants, and in tourist areas.
What will the weather be like in August?
August in Baku is typically warm and sunny. We recommend lightweight fabrics and sun protection, especially for daytime events.
